  • Email kantor & pribadi

  • Akun media sosial (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, dll.)

  • Internet/ATM Banking

  • Aplikasi cloud & layanan digital lainnya

4. Aktifkan Two Factor Authentication (TFA)

Aktifkan lapisan keamanan tambahan berupa kode OTP setiap kali login akun penting. Ini mencegah akses tanpa izin walau password Anda bocor.

Lindungi identitas digital Anda!

A personal data breach on the internet can have serious consequences: your account could be taken over, your information could be misused, and it could even lead to financial loss. If you receive a data breach notification or suspect that someone else may be using your account, IMMEDIATELY take the following actions:

1. Regularly Change Your Passwords

Update all your important passwords, especially those linked to:

  • Work & personal email

  • Social media accounts (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.)

  • Internet/ATM banking

  • Cloud applications & other digital services

2. Use Strong & Unique Passwords

Create a strong combination that’s hard to guess, like: K&u9d!z3

Use uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols and make sure not to reuse the same password across multiple accounts.

3. Avoid Passwords Based on Personal Information

Never use your birth date, full name, National ID number (NIK), or ID card number (KTP) as your password. This kind of information is easy to guess and often targeted by cybercriminals.

4. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (TFA)

Add an extra layer of protection by enabling OTP or TFA on your important accounts. This helps prevent unauthorized access, even if your password is leaked.

5. Avoid Accessing Important Accounts from Public Wi-Fi

Never access email, banking apps, or sensitive accounts through public Wi-Fi (such as in cafes, airports, or other public places).
These connections are not secure and are often used as traps by attackers.

6. NEVER SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH ANYONE

Never share your email, password, OTP code, or account information even with someone claiming to be from an official organization.

💬 If you notice suspicious activity on your account or device, contact the Cyber Security ICT IHC Team immediately.
